What this is

This is a free online platform that helps connect artists and art writers/curators.

Spending time with fine artists and art writers as well as curators has taught us that each are really great in their own profession, and there are many ways to collaborate. Working together in the field is the most important thing we’ve got!

This platform offers a growing list of artists and another list of writers/curators, a way to connect and collaborate. But here, instead of offering cash for work, participants offer to barter work - per - work.

What are the terms

There are some rules involved:

1. Honesty and professional integrity: do your best, be responsible, and work professionally.

2. Be fair: both artists and writers/curators work hard. Maintain a fair trade and agree on what your terms are in advance.

3. Choose your match wisely: research the writer's/curators previous work / research the artist's work. Know who you choose to work with. Sometimes it's not a good match -- know in advance and take responsibility. If you have already committed pay your dues!

4. Be proud: it's an opportunity to learn, grow, collaborate and connect!

5. Please tell us about your collaborations and share your experiences with us, including: links, websites, exhibitions, catalogues, residencies, and more!
